Pregnancy Care Center of Cayuga County
Our Mission:The Pregnancy Care Center of Cayuga County exists to present truth to young women, men, and their families who are encountering the issues of an unplanned pregnancy and to assist them in finding the necessary resources to meet their needs.
Our Work With Abortion-Vulnerable Women: We minister to women and their partners. We are here to help people make an informed decision so that they will, hopefully, choose an alternative to abortion. We realize the mother is the only one who can nourish and care for her unborn child. To help a child, we must help that child’s mother and father. We focus on the woman and her needs by offering her acceptance, compassion, accurate information and assistance in bringing her baby to term. The final decision about abortion belongs to the woman. By placing our focus on helping each woman right where she's at in life, she is enabled to reject the ideology that frames the abortion issue in terms of mother versus child. When we place our focus on loving the woman and her partner, God can touch them with hope. In turn, they are empowered to choose life.
What We Don't Do:
We Minister with Truth & Love : We provide accurate medically-documented information on abortion. The final decision about abortion belongs to the client. Before her first appointment, each woman that seeks our help receives and signs a form informing her that we neither perform nor refer for abortion.
Our Door is Always Open: We let our women know that our door is always open to them. They need to know they can return for help if they would choose abortion and would later like help with post-abortion grief or stress.

Men's Ministry
The Men's Bible Study meets every Thursday evening @ 7:00 in the Fellowship House. Our focus is on studying the Word of God. Psalm 86:1 "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name." In a world that creates so much noise in our lives it is good to come together as men and be still in order to know the God of the Bible. As iron sharpens iron, so we too are built up in the Word of God as we encourage each other. We have studied from both the Old and New Testaments progressing from a few verses up to a couple of chapters each night. We utilize different versions of the Bible and many men use study Bibles. Mom's in Prayer meets Wednesdays from 10-11am, during the school year. Our mission is to impact the children, staff, and administration of the Cato-Meridian School District by gathering mothers to pray. Each month we reach out to the school with Words and Deeds to encourage and be a positive support to the school staff.
Ladies Circle The Ladies Circle is a long standing ministry of our church dating back over 50 years. Though changes have occurred over the years, our mission remains consistent: to deepen our faith through Bible study and prayer, to encourage and support each other, to participate in the life of the church, and to lend financial support to various projects. Most recently we have supported Heifer International, Samaritan’s Purse, and World Vision. The knitters in the group continue to send sweaters to World Vision for distribution all over the world.
Most meetings are held in the fellowship hall with a few hosted at a member’s home. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM. All ladies are welcome (and encouraged) to join us at any time; church attendance or membership is not required. We are currently discussing select readings from "Holiness Day by Day" authored by Jerry Bridges. Women's Ministries
