This past Sunday we have talked about our need to remember this world is not our home; our journey on this earth is temporary. If you could use some help with what that should look like in your life I want to recommend a sermon delivered on Sunday evening, October 12, 1862, by Rev. C. H. Spurgeon at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in Newington, England entitled: "Citizenship In Heaven". The sermon is based on Philippians 3:20 "For our conversation is in Heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ". It will provide a much richer picture of what it should look like and mean to be an alien and a stranger in this world. Please don't give up if you find the listening or reading a little challenging; it will be worth your time and effort.
