The link below is to a Rap Presentation of the Gospel. Now Rap is not my favorite music genre, but a wise man told me some years ago when the church was in the middle of the "Worship Wars" that there was no such thing as Christian Music, only Christian Lyrics. That comment has stayed with me ever since and helped me appreciate a much wider spectrum of musical worship expression. Check it out and consider sharing it with a young person in your life.

I want to talk about brother Larry's sermon , first l want to praise the LORD for a very good message that Larry preached. And that we are very blessed that when Pastor is gone that Larry can fill the pulpit. First l really needed that message and have felt for a year that l was just coasting along and blaming my walk on work and the people at work. Yes there is no doubt in my mind that society is really getting bad, and l feel GOD is allowing it and leaving us to ourselves and dealing with this sin that is running a mock . Now dont get me wrong God is still in controll and always will be. GOD talks about this kind of things in his word and what is to come in the last days. The question that Larry asked was are you sure your saved and how close are you to GOD and his word, well as l thought about this and the messages that the pastor has been preaching on about rest in GOD and where do you put your hope in. I started to read the word in Galations and Romans and other books, l am also a big fan of Tozer and Begg.( By the way a good book to read is the Pursuit of GOD by Tozer). My relationship was falling away because l was blaming other situations and circumstances for my lack of faith on work and people at work. Galations tells us as Romans tell us not to walk in the flesh but in the spirit if indeed you are in the holy spirit of GOD. Well as Larry expressed the challenge and to get your heart right, thats exactally what l had to do, not blame others or the crisses around me but to meditate and pray and read the word and listen to the radio which has a ton of messages daily, not other junk that fills the mind, but on the word and read more books and stop being lazy and blaming everything else. As Larry was saying remember when you first became a child of GOD you could not get enough well for me its like the seasons you become strong in the beginning like spring time as new life pops up and then summer comes and you are moving right along with your relationship with GOD, and then fall comes and you start to fade away and the leaves fall off and the time winter gets here your dead like the cold and snow is pilling up and your not producing any fruit for yourselve or helping others, and your relationship with GOD is burried ten feet below snow. Now l dont believe you can loose your salvation as the word says but the question is were you saved to begin with. And thats where l had to start, yes l know l am saved but boy was l close to being dead and that is really scary, l dont want to be left by myself l need GOD every day and the only way l can have him if l am in his word being in prayer and focucing on him and not what my condition and situation is that surrrounds me at work because of things that are running a mock. Thats where l should be strong and looking to GOD for help and coming closer to him.So l thank GOD for brother Larry for opeing my eyes and the messages that Pastor keeps preaching about, GODS grace is sufficient for me in everything l do. Well l am praying that GOD will and help me in this hell hole that l work in and eventually bring me out but in the mean time l need to be closer to GOD and maybe l can share and someone will be saved.( Who will deliver me from this sin, my LORD in JESUS CHRIST), l cant remember the exact book thats in but thats who will deliver us all.
